Roofer.Help exists because roofing owners kept asking the same questions, and the answers they found online were either vague or sold by someone with a contract to push. This site gives those answers in plain language, and offers hands-on help for owners who would rather hand the work off. We are marketers and business consultants, not roofers.

The company

Roofer.Help is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. We work with roofing companies in every province and territory.

Sedighi.ca is the growth, marketing and technology consulting company Ali Sedighi runs; HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca are among its brands. SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is the group's Canadian strategy firm, which Ali founded to work on strategy, AI and revenue growth.

Paid plans for roofers are delivered through Trades.Agency, the group's brand for trades and home-service businesses. Roofer.Help is the roofing-specific front door: the guides, the checklists and the first conversation.

What we are, and what we are not

We market and advise roofing businesses. We don't do roofing. That means no inspections, no estimates, no installs, no repairs, no adjuster meetings and no door-knocking. When a homeowner needs a roofer, they need you, and our work is to make sure they find you and trust you.

We also don't give insurance, legal or accounting advice. Where a marketing question touches those areas, for example wording about insurer payments or deductibles, we tell you plainly that it needs a professional in that field and help you find the right question to ask.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads Roofer.Help and every brand in the group. His MBA is in Technology Management, and his marketing career runs back more than 17 years, to 2007, when he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Ali has built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca and RomaHeating.ca. Beyond heating, he started Conv.ca, which focuses on conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca, and he serves as Founder & Managing Partner at SAZ.ca. His clients are in Canada, the USA and Dubai.

The reason his background matters to a roofer: heating companies and roofing companies face the same shape of business. Demand is seasonal and weather-driven, the map pack decides who gets the call, and reviews close the sale. The methods proven in HVAC carry over directly.

How we work

Answer first, then the work. Every engagement starts with a straight assessment of what's broken and what isn't. Sometimes the honest answer is "your marketing is fine; you're missing calls", and we say so.

A few working principles:

  • Measure calls and booked inspections. Not impressions, not rankings, not "engagement".
  • Stay within the rules. Google's guidelines, the Competition Act and Canada's anti-spam law aren't obstacles; they protect the roofers who play fair from the ones who don't.
  • You own everything. Your profile, your website, your ad accounts and your data stay in your name.
  • No lock-in. Plans run month-to-month, with 30 days' notice to cancel.
  • Write it down. You get a written plan you could hand to someone else, even if that someone isn't us.

Why a field manual

Because roofers learn by doing, and want the steps in order. The guides on this site are written the way a good crew lead explains a job: what to do, in what order, and what goes wrong if you skip a step. Read the Google Business Profile manual first if you're not sure where to begin.

Who we usually work with

Owner-operated roofing companies, from a single crew to several, plus a few larger firms with a commercial side. The common thread is an owner who wants to understand what is being done in their name and why. If you'd like a monthly report you can read in five minutes and a strategist who answers the phone, we will get along. If you want vanity metrics and long contracts, we are the wrong fit, and we'll say so early.

Where to go next

See the services we offer, check what plans cost, or read the results from our HVAC work. When you're ready, call, text or email with a short description of your company and the problem you'd like solved.

Frequently asked questions

Is Roofer.Help a roofing company?

No. We are a digital marketing and business consulting service for roofing and other trades businesses. We don't inspect, install, repair or estimate roofs.

Who owns Roofer.Help?

Roofer.Help is operated by Sedighi.ca, Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company, and is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies.

Why do you show HVAC results on a roofing site?

Because they are our real results, and we won't invent roofing ones. The work behind them, local search, reviews and fast response to seasonal demand, is the same work a roofer needs.

Will I deal with a junior account manager?

Your first conversation is with a senior strategist. Ongoing work runs through Trades.Agency plans, and the plan level decides how much dedicated support you get.
