Hands-on marketing help for roofing companies

We offer four focused services for roofers. Most owners start with the Google Business Profile, then add a storm-season plan and a review routine before the next busy season.

Roofer.Help offers four services, and they build on each other. The Google Business Profile comes first because every search, ad and review points back to it. Reviews come next because they decide which roofer gets the call. The storm-season and insurance-work services sit on top of those two and only work once the foundation is solid.

Use this page to decide where to start. Each service has its own page with scope, timeline and the mistakes we watch for.

Google Business Profile for roofers

If you only fix one thing this year, fix your profile. For most residential roofers it is the single biggest source of inbound calls, and it is also the asset most often damaged by bad advice.

We audit the name, primary and secondary categories, service area, hours, photos, services list and description, then correct anything that breaks Google's guidelines. Typical problems include a business name padded with "Roofing Repair Calgary", a home address showing publicly, or two duplicate listings splitting your reviews.

Choose this when calls from Maps feel random, when your profile was suspended or when a competitor seems to outrank you without any visible reason. Details: Google Business Profile for roofers.

Reviews and reputation

Reviews close the sale before you call the homeowner back. A roofer with a steady stream of recent, detailed reviews wins calls from a roofer with a higher rating but nothing new in eighteen months.

We set up a simple ask-every-customer routine: a text template sent at hand-off, a short link straight to your review form, and a reply habit for every review, including the harsh ones. Everything stays inside Google's rules, which means no incentives and no screening out unhappy customers first.

Choose this when your review count has stalled or your newest review is months old. Details: reviews and reputation for roofers.

Storm-season marketing playbook

Severe weather brings a flood of searches for a few days, and the companies that planned for it get most of the work. The ones that didn't end up with full voicemail boxes and lost jobs.

We build your plan before the season: storm-specific landing pages, paused-and-ready ad campaigns, a call and text triage script, and a calendar of what to turn on and off. When a wind or hail event hits your area, you follow the plan instead of improvising.

Choose this if last season's storm left you with more calls than you could answer or saw out-of-province crews take work in your area. Details: storm-season marketing playbook.

Insurance-work marketing basics

Homeowners with an open claim need a roofer who explains the process clearly, without overselling. This service helps you do that with honest pages, scripts and ad copy.

We write content that explains what you do (inspection, documentation photos, estimate, repair) and what the homeowner and their insurer do. We remove claims your business can't support, such as "insurance approved" or "we'll get your claim paid". We don't advise anyone on policies, coverage or contracts.

Choose this if insurance-related work is a meaningful share of your jobs, or you want it to be, and you want marketing that won't embarrass you in front of an adjuster. Details: insurance-work marketing basics.

How to choose, in order

Work through the list in sequence and stop when the phone is busy enough.

  1. Is your Google Business Profile accurate, within policy and in the right category? If not, start there.
  2. Do you have at least one new review a month in season? If not, add the review routine.
  3. Do you serve an area with regular wind, hail or heavy-snow events? If so, build the storm plan before spring.
  4. Is insurance-related work part of your mix? Then add the insurance-work pages and scripts.

Everything runs on the Trades.Agency plans listed on our pricing page. If you want proof of the method first, see results from our HVAC work, or read the free guides and try the steps yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy just one service?

Yes. Many roofers start with a one-off profile cleanup or a storm-season plan. If you later want ongoing help, the work moves onto a month-to-month Trades.Agency plan.

Which service should come first?

Almost always the Google Business Profile. Every other channel, including storm-week ads and review requests, sends people back to it, so it has to be accurate and within Google's rules first.

Do any of these services involve contacting homeowners for me?

We set up the messages, pages and systems you use. We don't canvass, cold-call or text homeowners on your behalf, and any follow-up texts you send must meet Canada's anti-spam rules.

Do you work with commercial roofers?

Yes, though most of our guides lean residential. Commercial flat-roof work relies more on relationships with property managers, so we adjust the plan toward a credible website, case pages and targeted search rather than storm-week ads.
